Ahaan's pov:
I was sitting in front of the mansion, not having the will to get up to go in. I see Azaan's car arriving in the driveway.
It stops right before me and Nafisa gets out in a rush.
"Jiju, Aliyah! She is in Australia!" she says in a hurry.
"What? Australia? How?" I ask in disbelief.
"We overheard Farhan talking to Fahad on the phone. Apparently he is in Australia. So Aliyah bhabi is probably there as well." Azaan explains.
"Do you know where?" I look back to see Aariz and Aryan coming out of the mansion.
"No. He can't be located as well. We-"
"Who can't be located?" Noor was coming in our direction with Karya. Everyone was here now, except her.
"Fahad. All we know is he went to Australia." Azaan explains again.
"Australia! What? How will-"
"Pilot ko phone karke bolde, helicopter ready rakhe." I order Azaan while cutting Karya off. We didn't have much time. (Call the pilot and tell him to get the helicopter ready.)
"Helicopter? You have a helicopter?" Noor looked at me and Aariz in disbelief while Azaan started talking with the pilot.
"He's ready." Azaan says while chucking the car keys at me while I run and start his car.
"Wait, shouldn't we plan something first?" Aariz says coming beside the window.
"There is no time to plan. Aliyah could be in danger. I need her safe and sound. And I can't trust any plans or backups now." saying that I drive out of the driveway in an instant.
--
The helicopter was up in the sky.
"Where do you want me to land sir?" the pilot asks as we fly over the Indian Ocean.
"The nearest place you can find from the southern coast. Any flat space. We don't have time to find a helipad." Azaan said Fahad can't be tracked. But he will surely be found somewhere near the Rashid's holiday house. Maybe even exactly in the holiday house.
Aliyah's pov:
I wake up because of a horrifying headache. I open my eyes to look around the room but oh how I wish I didn't open them.
Darkness.
It started to consume me. Bringing all the past back to me.
I try to ignore the hammering of my heart and my brain's dark whispers and try to find a solution.
I need to escape.
Suddenly, the door barged open letting a tiny bit of light in the room which gave me a sense of relief. But when I saw the person who opened the door, the relief turned into dread. Everything was in vain right now. I was tied up. With a tape on my mouth as well.
"Hey sparkle. Finally up? How are you liking this room? Doesn't it remind you of our past?" he said while coming inside the room with a smirk on his face.
"mhmph!" was all that came out of my mouth because of the damn tape!
"Chill sparkle, we still have a lot of time to relive the past before I take the tape out of your mouth. Remember the day in the basement? That day was planned to be my happiest day. All my efforts and finally a result. But you ruined it. Why sparkle? Didn't you say you liked me? Then why wouldn't you let me have a little fun?"
'That wasn't like. That was me appreciating the fact someone saw me in a good way. Though even that turned out fake at the end.' I wanted to shout at him. But all I did was glare.
"You know sparkle? You've made so many mistakes. First, you ran away from me. Then you tried to report me to the police, even know your own family told you not to. Then you left and ignored me for years. And when I told you to come back, you had the guts to ignore me and marry one of the Raihans?" He walked up to me and grabbed my chin. "Really sparkle? How many wrong moves will you make?"
He removed the tape from my mouth and the first thing I wanted to do was spit on his face. But he doesn't even deserve to be spat on. "The only wrong move I made was to think you're a nice person!" I shouted out at him.
"Tch tch tch. See Sparkle? This is something you should improve on. You're here trapped in a dark room. Under my mercy. The least you could do is beg for forgiveness. Maybe I'll let you off easily then."
I couldn't help but scoff at his statement. "Beg for forgiveness to you? I'd rather die than do that."
I saw a smirk on his face. "Take that back Sparkle, this is your last chance."
"Never," I say without another thought.
He stood up and started walking towards the door.
No.
The door was open until now thus the room was not dark. But now. No.
"Told you Sparkle. You should've listened," he said after the room was consumed with darkness again. I tried to stay calm but I was shaking before I even knew it.
He came closer to me and grabbed my face again. Bringing his face closer to mine. I try my best to get out of his grip still half shaking when there was a loud bang.
Before I could process anything, I saw the door was open. Fahad in the corner of the room with another guy. As I calmed down a bit, I saw his whole face.
Ahaan.
He was grabbing Fahad by the collar.
I couldn't help but sigh with relief when I saw him.
But then chaos started. They both started fighting physically.
Author's pov:
"You're going to pay for what you've done." Ahaan
Fahad scoffed, stepping forward with mocking confidence. "Oh, really? What do you think you can do? You're too weak to stop me."
With a sudden, explosive movement, Ahaan threw himself at Fahad, his fists swinging.
Ahaan's fist slammed into Fahad's ribs, the impact like a thunderclap in the small room. Fahad grunted, stumbling back a step, but quickly recovered. He smirked, rubbing his side where Ahaan had struck him.
"Is that the best you've got, Ahaan? I've been through worse than you can dish out."
Fahad lunged, swinging a wild punch aimed at Ahaan's head. Ahaan ducked, the air whizzing past his ear, and before Fahad could recover, Ahaan's knee drove into his stomach. Fahad's eyes widened as the wind was knocked out of him. He staggered backward, and Ahaan followed, not giving him a chance to breathe.
Ahaan grabbed him by the collar, slamming him into the wall with a force that rattled the entire room. "You took her from me," Ahaan screamed, his voice a low, guttural threat. "And I'll make you regret it."
Fahad's grin faltered slightly as he realized how close Ahaan was to completely losing control. But he wasn't done. With a sickening laugh, he jammed his elbow into Ahaan's side, forcing him to release his grip.
Ahaan reeled back for a moment, clutching his ribs, but the pain only fueled the fire inside him. "You think I'm scared of a coward like you?" he spat, launching himself at Fahad again.
This time, Ahaan wasn't playing around. He was faster, angrier, and he had nothing left to lose.
Fahad staggered back, his cheek already swelling from Ahaan's brutal assault. Blood dripped from his nose, but he wasn't finished. With a snarl, Fahad tackled Ahaan, sending them both crashing to the ground. The fight became a chaotic blur, both men grappling and struggling for dominance, each trying to land the killing blow.
Fahad landed a punch to Ahaan's jaw, making his teeth rattle. Ahaan gritted his teeth and shoved him off, his muscles aching with exhaustion, but his willpower refusing to break.
"You're nothing but a pathetic little man!" Fahad spat, blood dripping from his lip, his eyes wild with rage. "You'll never win against me."
Ahaan's eyes flared with defiance. "I don't need to win," he hissed. "I just need to make sure you lose."
Ahaan grabbed a metal pipe from the floor, his fingers white from the pressure. Without hesitation, he swung it at Fahad, the heavy metal slamming into the side of his head. Fahad dropped to the ground with a sickening thud, his body crumpling like a ragdoll. He groaned, trying to get back up, but Ahaan stood over him, his chest heaving, eyes burning with the fury of a man who had been pushed too far.
"I'm not done," Ahaan muttered through gritted teeth.
He grabbed Fahad by the throat, lifting him off the ground. Fahad's eyes widened in panic, his hand scrambling to pry Ahaan's fingers off his neck.
"I'll kill you," Ahaan whispered. "You made a very big mistake."
Fahad's smug expression was gone now, replaced by sheer terror. He gasped for air, his vision swimming. But Ahaan didn't care. Ever since he heard how much Fahad put Aliyah through, all he wanted to do was to take revenge. To kill him. He wanted to punch Fahad again but then...
"Ahaan!" Aliyah shouted out.
He froze on the spot.
"Please stop!" She kept going. "You'll kill him if you go on like this!"
"He doesn't deserve to live," Ahaan said still grabbing Fahad by his collar.
"I don't want you to go to jail because of this! He is not worth it! Please stop!" She repeated.
Ahaan still held Fahad and started searching his pockets. Where he finds Rohypnol in a syringe. He takes it out and applies it on Fahad who struggles for a few seconds, but then goes into a deep slumber.
Then he runs to Aliyah and hugs her.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" he starts checking for injuries.
"No I'm fine." Aliyah tries to reassure him. Though he knows she is nowhere near fine.
He notices she isn't wearing her shoes. Of course she isn't. Fahad kept them in his bedroom. Which Ahaan found while coming to the basement as Fahad's room was beside the basement door.
He freed Aliyah's hands and bent down to help her wear her shoes. To which Aliyah looks at him in surprise.
His words from the past ring in her ears.
'I'm not getting on my knees if you're expecting that because I don't kneel infront of anyone.'
"Why are you looking at me so surprised?" Ahaan asked as he looked up at her face.
"Somebody said they don't kneel in front of anyone," Aliyah said teasingly. To which Ahaan got a sense of relief as at least she was going back to her normal personality.
"Did I? I don't remember." He shrugged and picked Aliyah up in his arms when Aliyah screamed in surprise as she did not expect that.
He took Aliyah out of the dark basement into the bright room where Aliyah's heartbeat should go back to normal as she wouldn't be scared anymore. But her heart was beating even faster because of her man who was now carrying her.
